    Race finish

Can anyone tell me exactly what a race finish is on a prop or what its purpose is? I know the truing, balance, pitch, ect but its hard to decide if I want it when I dont really know what it is.

Basically it's like sandblasting.Taking away the chrome look.leaving a little texture for "bite".
