Engine paint flaking
I have some paint flaking off from the bottom of the engine. Im not sure if its from the heat or from salt water. The ski has 28 hours on it and i feel like its to new for flaking. Should this be something to worry about? I do mist the engine with fresh water and then let air dry and then spray it with WD-40. Any suggestions to fix and pervert would be great thanks.

The problem hasn't gotten any worse over the last few years, and it has never caused any corrosion or anything like that.
Don't stress about it too much, just get out there and ride

Rumor has it that WD-40 isn't good for rubber hoses in the engine bay due to its silicon content, I stick to using RP-7!
