    engine alignment front to back measurment?

    Got the alignment tool going right in no problem. I know it is too far forward though were do I measure to get this right? 08 rxtx

    Install the drive shaft without the carbon seal, bellows, & hat, then install the just pump in the usual way. Grab the driveshaft and note the foreward/rearward movement. I moved the engine rearward about 3/8-1/2 inch on my 08 TX to add more tension to the bellows.
