    Xp problem

I'm not exactly sure what happened. The previous owner had a key fall apart on him while he was at the lake so he tried to hardware the ignition. I re wired everything heat wrapped it. Then went and got a new key. The people at ride now told me they couldn't get a connection to link the new key.
I checked all the fuses in the front box and also in the back box and everything is good. It worked perfectly before they cut the wires so I was thinking the might have ruined the mpem

Start by unplugging the plug at the mpem. Use a multimeter and check the continuity between all the wires from plug to post. Im at camp and wont have my repair manuel handy till saturday. So after you check for continuity on the three wires. And they are good. You put multimeter across two. without key. You should have no continuity then with key on and should get reading or beep. This will troubleshoot the post to mpem. As i said i dont have manual here on vaca at cottage so if someone could chime in for wire colours for him.
