Rxp will not start!!!! Im lost.

Let my rxp sit for the winter. Tried to start her up and getting nothing. The engine turns over but not catching. Open up the plugs and see that the engine is flooded with gas. Got new ones in hand just waiting for the gas to clear. Anything else i should consider if its not the plugs???
Also. Any other way to clear out the gas quicker than waiting for it to evaporate???

yea vacuum like GB said or remove plugs and fuel rail and crank her over to blow them out. (be sure fuel doesnt hit the spark in the latter instance)

should also be performed outside, if at all to avoid spraying your garage ceiling or making a flammable man-cave/

Flamable man cave?? That doesnt sound good. Used a siphon pump to get most of it out. Still waiting for it to totally dry. Gonna try it tomm.

OKay, so this is where I'm at.

New plugs, new battery, new starter relay, checked the starter (removed and shredded a 2x4 with it to check resistance), and changed the oil.

Starts for about 3 seconds then dies. Try to start again and I hear a clunk. Not like the relay clicking, but a clunk and the engine will not turn over anymore. It seems as if she's binding on something, or something is just holding her back. Not a terrifying sound valve contact, but a solid clunk. Any successive attempts to start will result in another obnoxious clunk. If I let her sit again for another 10 minutes and try to start, she will run again for another 3 seconds. Then the headaches happen again.

    Hmmmmm???

Figured it out. DESS wasn't hooking up properly from the lanyard. The shake of the start would rattle it off. Had it in the little storage bin since last ride and it warped the key. Thank god its not an expensive fix. K.I.S.S
