Bad gas and bad spark plugs.
I'd pump the gas and also add a double dose of fuel injection cleaner.

When they sit the gas goes bad.
If its under warranty bring it to the stealership.

bad clutch with possible bad teeth. take the hose from the supercharger to the air intake off and see if the super charger wheel turns both ways or is sticking. should spin free one way and lock the other.
if it does NOT lock one way take it to the dealer it probly has a bunch of metel in the oil pan and needs a new clutch, and debris removed from engine.

I'm making an assumption: worked fine last ride of season?

Even if the SC clutch failed, it should be doing better than 40mph. As others posted, I think most likely the plugs are fouled.
Unless replacing the plugs resolves the issue, and provided you didn't use any fuel stabilizer end of season, you're probably better off draining and disposing of the old gas.

replace sparkplugs first then re test it it still has this problem look for a fuel injector that is stuck closed and not opening at all. Tommy Jordan

happened to me, Injectors get stuck when the ski sits for a period of time. Also spark plugs
