    Tips for impeller cone removal?

    Does anyone have any tips for removing the impeller cone easily without tearing it up? That sucker is on there tight!

    I just tapped on mine lightly and pulled side to side...It slowly worked its way off.

    Smack it side to side with a rubber mallet.

    Finally got it off, its pretty mangled.. think I'm gonna run without one like we did on the GPRs.

    I've never bothered running an impeller cone on my skat prop just for the reason that they are so tough to get off. I also assume gains are minimal with the cone.
