94 SLT 750 Ocean Pro FA

Alright guys i have Ocean Pro FAs on my SLT 750, 1994, and well according to the directions you are supose to attach the fuel pump with a bracket to the ribs in the ski, welll as im sure you know, NO RIBS IN A 94! so i had made a bracket that attached at the carb and went off and got one bolt into to hold it, well with some riding( about 200 miles) worth this past weekend I poped the seat to have a looksie and my mount had cracked fuel pump laying in the bottom of the ski....so my question.. anyone else running Ocean Pro FAs on a 94 SLT and if so WHERE did you attach the fuel pump!!!

My 94 SLT750 had a bracket to mount the fuel pump to the PTO head. It also has OceanPro F/A. I believe the bracket was OEM - not sure.

hrmm looks like what the pump is mounted to is OEM but that bracket i have never seen before. not sure how that would change the torque on the head as well...its an idea though.

The factory mounted them to the airbox or like many newer models the carb have built in pumps which are getting same engine vibration.....so I would not think engine vibration should hamper them....but you could always use a rubber damper like the exhuast brackets of a any MX bike to decrease vibration effect.

Drkvampire did your SLT oil injectors mount at the airbox or at the intake?
I have a 93 intake that has the oil injectors in it and want to swap it onto my 95 so it will make it easier to trouble shoot/tune the carbs without having to remove the lower half of the air box.
