    Modifying the exhaust

    I have an X charger 42# inj 4" front intake and I am adding a RRFPR and an Ext intercooler. I am not happy with how the exhaust had to be modified to fit and I am wondering what you think about modifying the exhaust some way. What do you run? How loud is it. I have a 2 Brothers racing on my Hayabusa and it is a bit louder than stock, but my buddy ran a thru hull on his Honda and it was stupid loud... Any input????

    Well i just installed exactly what your talking about. Literally just did the first run.
    Get the Riva rear exhaust. Sounds wonderful, not raspy, very deep note, sounds powerfull without being noisy.
    You remove eveything from the water box on.
    Neigbours comments on the sound, very deep tone, but not bothersome
    I just installed X charger, 42 injectors, fizzle high effency intercooler, ffrpr, and riva rear exhaust.
    Installation of the rear exhaust on a hardness of 1 to 10:would be a 6.
    Its harder getting the resonator out. Be sure you poission the cut out template right and everything goes together great.

    i did the free flow, sounds good except around 3000 rpms where theres a drone, but its cheap and easy and less permanent than drilling your hull.

    What I have read some say the stock exhaust location without the resonator is a very annoying sound
    In that tunnel it must eco like mad

    I had to take the resonator out to put the intercooler in. I just didnt know where the free flow part goes? Do I modify the waterbox at all

    Also, if your going to an external ic, do you really want it sitting on top of the hot exhaust? Kinda defeats the purpose of the external ic.
    I was worried about the noise the riva rear exhaust would make but its a very nice sound. Not like angry bees at all.

    The thru haul exhaust how does it keep water out. Cause from the look of it there is no water stoper in the exhaust tip. And the cap looks like it has small holes. So im a littke confused with it i like to wave jump and i need my haul dry for my riva 3 inch

    The pipe bends very high after the waterbox before exiting the hull and then the j pipe also bends up so its hard for water to flow up hill to fill up the waterbox. the hull stays very dry.

    Does anyone have any pictures? My exhaust comes out of the hull not just in the stock location on the right above the ride plate. Where does the new thru hull come out? Do you make mods to your exhaust box or is it just piping? Is it over where the resonator normally is or on the same side as the waterbox.
