need help and opinons with 1100 wave raider engine overhaul

Newbie here and in need of some help. I picked up a 96 1100 on what i thought was a good deal BTW this is my first pwc' was told it had been sitting for a few years. Well got it on the water with fresh gas an all put 2 tanks thew her but jus never run the best. i thought its was a carb prob but then i did a compression test which i should have done in he first place an found that pto side was dead and 130 psi 0n the other 2. So i tore it down an found number three piston destroyed. The ski has been worked over by riva at some point it has big bore carbs after market reeds and is bored over 1.00 mm ' bear with me im learn n lol.

It did bend the rod so im look in at get n a rebuilt crank. looks like i may be able to bore all the cylinders 1.50 mm or 2 mm over and not have to replace the sleeve does anyone know if that could cause any probs .

    Thanks

What does it take to replace the sleeve on this motor' press old one out an press new one in then match the ports to each other. I ve rebuilt many diesel engines and an a few old 2 stroke diesels an replaced alot of sleeves in them. Just don't know much about this pwc but i will keep reading and learning. I'm try n to go the cheapest route but not take any short cuts that will come back to get me later.

    Thanks

The sleeves are pressed in, heat helps. They have to final bored to your piston size after install.

Im not having much luck finding anyone around here that works on them and most places still don't have power yet got a nasty storm last weekend. The machine shop that does most of my engine work told me he don't like to mess with changing the sleeves on them and i think he told me it was gonna cost $65 a cyl to bore it which i think is very high idk.

$65 a cylinder is about right for boring. Try Pro-Tec in Murrietta Ca I had them do one for me years ago. http://www.pro-tecperformance.com/proshop.htm

If you wanna re-sleeve it yourself, there are a couple threads on here on how to do it. Here's my favorite one called Grilling Cylinders .
There is another one about doing it in the oven as well.
