    ZXI Hull Repair

While riding last weekend I took a sharp turn and ripped a 24 inch by 18 inch section of my hull off. It turns out the previous owner put a cheap patch right down the middle of the bottom of my ski and bondoed over it to cover it up.

My question is ... should I try and repair it and whats the best way to go about it. Or should I just look for a new hull? If so, any ideas of what I can swap the engine into?

    Its a 1996 1100 ZXI with a new engine.

If its just the gel coat missing and no chunks missing out of the fiberglass, then they make gel coat repair kits that should work for you.
If the fiberglass is damaged I would bring it to a body shop for a quote or look for another hull, or at least another bottom half

Thats the foam showing. Its all the way through. I think I found a zxi with a blown motor for $400 I'm going to buy and swap out the motors.

That will be your best bet. I am sure that foam is soaked. That hull is done!
