How long to replace cdi on 2003 Virage

CDI replacement looks like a plug and play. Is there something I am missing why dealer would say it is 2.5 hrs. I am looking to pick up a cdi this weekend, so thanks for input

There's a minimum that a business must charge for every transaction, i.e. time talking to you, time entering the order, labor, billing etc. So 2.5 hrs sound about right.
Yes it would be 30 mins or less if done by yourself.

If everything goes perfect and nothing fights back! Greasy wires and dropped bolts happen
