Need some help with exhaust stinger.

Well some how or another one of the bolts that is used to mount the exhaust on the side of the cylinder broke off and the other stripped out the hole. SO i drilled them out and tapped them well now the the head of the bolt is to big and I can't get a socket on it. What can I do now?????????

    It is a 01 gp1200r

Do you mean the bolt head is too big and is too close to the side of the bracket to get a socket on it? Maybe you've tried already but just use an open end wrench.

You can't get to it with an open end wrench. It is between the exhaust and cylinder kinda around the arrow

If you got the bolt out already then get a timesert to make the threads the same size as what was in there.

Is it on the manifold side or by the stinger?

its up to you . i have heard that it will give you good low and incredible mid throttle, but i believed the OE pipe with a dplate gives you the most top end.

So you're trying to tighten or remove this bolt? It's the bolt for the stinger bracket that connects to the block? Have you tried using universal joints with some extensions?
