    Newbie with a Yamaha XL 800

    Hey All,
    I'm new to the site. I have a 2001 Kawasaki Ultra 130 DI and a 2000 Yamaha XL 800. Bought it about a year ago - I have about 98 or so hours on it. I love it, had it out for three hours last Saturday and didn't have a problem. I just had it de-winterized (professionally) and new plugs installed. Runs like a champ, I just notice I suck up a lot of seaweed/grass in spots. After I use it, I always wash it good and flush it out.
    Any input on the Ski? Anything to look out for? I had a local dealership, Stumpys in Neptune New Jersey look this ski over and they said its in great working condition. Here are a few pics;

    Hello Chris the ski looks very clean for the year it is, The thing i would recommended is to install wave eater clips so you do not drop a power valve clip.

    +2 on the waveater clips,you will need to remove the exhaust pipe to access the front pv,so a new gaskets will be needed,but better safe than sorry because a pv failure will be very costly
