Im looking to get my ski to higher top speed

Ok i have a 1995 yamaha wave venture 700. i would like it to have a higher top speed, it tops out at around 43 mph. Would a performance head really increase power and speed, what size dome should i get. Also what other bigger motor could i swap into my ski here is the link to the performance cylinder head. I would like to get to around 50-60 mph http://jetskijunky.com/store/yamaha-...-head-kit-1449

A head will give you higher compression, so you have a stronger holeshot, stronger acceleration, but won't increase top speed much at all.
You could swap in an 1100. some ventures had 1100s so you'll need a donor ski to get the parts you need.

Like what size pitch impeller, also i the heads their is a option to change the dome size like 44cc= 150 psi 42cc = 160 psi. Is that saying the lower the psi the more cc my motor will have or what i dont understand or is it saying 150 psi will ad 44 cc

i hate to say this, but you will be burning money to only gain few miles.its not the ideal ski to dump money into to expect any good results.

The combustion chamber will be smaller cc which will increase the compression ratio.
In the quest for higher top speeds, you'll need more horsepower (porting, big bore, flame arrestors, reeds, etc) and a different impeller. But the hull isn't ideally designed for top speed stuff.

What brand of jet ski would you recommend that is good for high speed, that does not cost a arm and a leg
