Maybe, it's possible the piston is just jammed in there really good, try pulling that jug only and then see if the motor is free. What a shame such a fast ski let go

    CEN really rich

    MAG LEAN.

What's up with the silicone sealer instead of a gasket on the exh valves?

I saw the silicone... as you remember my friend introduced me to that with the intake side........ I don't think that is right but it probably wont blow the motor??? Just leak exhaust. But as you know, I dont know what im talking about LOL

silicone is from a last minute valve cleaning , when your racing , sometimes you do what do have to do , and run out of gaskets . found the issue , mag carb , had broken high speed spring , which caused the needle to back out causing a lean condition , a 50 cent spring has now caused 500.00 in damage .

Huh, the screw backed out, or it tightened down, backing out would have cause a super rich condition, either way thats probably it. Dang what a bummer.

The exhaust valve gasket is made of metal, so I would use coppercote on those

Sounds like his high speed screw backed out of the carb...thus making a huge air leak??
