Seadoo RXP rpms
I bought a 04 rxp and it needed a prop and wear ring which I installed a own wear ring and a Solas 14/19 prop. I had not rode this ski before I bought it. I bought it with intensions of repairing everything. Anyways, at wot my mph is right at 70 mph and rpms are at 7500. My buddy has a 04 Rxp with 18 hours on it and his runs right next to mine but his rpms are right around 8100. Now my rxp is bone stock but I figure that that prop wouldn't pull the motor down that far. I have a riva intake and exhaust, x-charger and 42# injectors but wasn't going to install any of it until winter when I get a external intercooler and rrfpr. I was actually going to buy a 15/20 once I put all that on but I may keep what I have if this prop pulls me down that much?? Does this sound about right?? Thanks

Make sure the s/c washers are changed and the exhaust valves are not the ones that break.
If u don't do these upgrades you both are riding ticking time bombs...
Tick tick BOOM!!!

The washers have been changed on both. How do you know each ones have the valve problems??

Yes, I think that RPM could be pretty close. I know that when I ran a 14/19 on my stock boat, I had to run big air, grate, sponsons, freeflow exhaust to turn it and keep my rpm under the limiter(8100ish). Even then I think I depitched it a bit also. I think I got to 74-76mph with the 14/19 on a 10 pound wheel and 42# injectors, external IC before I went to a bigger SC. So I think 7500 with no mod's is about right.
