    Broken water inlet pipe

I purchase a 96 700 SLT that looked pretty clean no hull damage and started taken as trade in from a local dealer for $600. At the advice of the local mechanic he suggested I minimally clean the jets to prevent engine failure issues which I make a long story short someone previously did a Mickey mouse repair on a broken water inlet pipe with lotsa caulk. This almost caused the craft to sink when the hose separated on the initial test ride. The sled did run strong prior to hose coming off. Being pretty mechanical I decided to dive in without the benefit of a service manual. I was able to remove the jet assbly then separated the case and removed the broken plastic inlet pipe. Now I'm not sure what to do..I know I need the manual but while I have all this apart should I be replacing something and where do I get the o-rings etc to make sure it doesn't leak..

    Welcome to the Hulk.

Does that have the short (about 8" long) plastic intake tube I assume?

If so, I'll give you 1. It will have the O ring on it already.

And check out this link for some great info
