first easy upgrade for 09 FX SHO?
I been searching around here on the forum and I'm getting more and more confused with each post I look at.
I've got a stock 09 FX SHO with about 75 hours on it and I want to start slowly start to make it better.
I've always been leaning towards a new FF exhaust, intercooler, or the riva power filter kit.
But now recently I've been reading and I see some people talking about a "dampner" which would be good for my riding because I'm
at WOT for about 80% of the time.
(FYI I ride in mostly some chop in NJ at WOT a good 80-90% of the time so I need to stay concerned with reliability)
When my dude comes to change my oil in my ski I'm hoping he can install one of these for me because my ski is on a lift.
Any suggestions on what to get??? Sorry if this is a repetitive post, I just want a response geared to my riding conditions and stuff.

I would suggest a RIVA Stage 1 kit.
It would be a nice place to start and almost all the mods you may want to do in the future would depend on these mods.

No buck on a SHO, but a grate is a great mod. It sucks you right down on the water.

I think air is also a good place to begin also.
The Yamahas have very restrictive OEM air filters; so if you don't want to go with a complete kit that's one area to think about.

so would you suggest the riva power filter kit then?
