What media dose SBT use for blasting with

I just orderd a top end from SBT and can see the hole part was blasted even where the seals meet. I was guessing it was walnut thinking soda would not pit as much as it is. Any ideas on what sbt uses? I was working on two 787's out of a challenger 1800 and want to blast the case and heads but not 100% what to use
    thanks
    phil

Not sure what they use, but the pitting you may see could possibly be previous corrosion. I've rebuilt a couple of motors and have used silica sand, even though some may disagree. I used 40/60 and it came out nice. Wasn't overly agressive, made a decent natural and even finish. I coated the finished pieces with epoxy and they came out nice.
