Soliciting Opinions on 780 "Upgrades"
First of all, I want to thank everyone in this forum and the thousands of threads. Two years ago, I started out with two boats (94 SL750, 95 SLT750). that were basically given to me.
...now I have titles to 14 of them; all 93-96.
Anyway, this year's project is a couple of twins I'm putting together. One is a 95 SL750 and the other is a 96 SL780. They're both painted and wrapped to match, new mats, and the usual (necessary) fuel system upgrades. Here's what I'm struggling with:
I have a complete extended pump assy including the steering cables, bolts, ride plate...everything from a 95 SLX. I'm sitting on the fence about putting all of it on the 96 SL780, or just keeping it stock and selling the extended pump setup.
My question is simple: What would you do?
Many of you have the advantage of comparison which I do not have. Thanks in advance.

I would do the extended pump on it.

If you're going to keep it, install the pump.
If you sell it, don't.
