Use synthetic grease on 951 carb bolts

The shop manual says to put synthetic grease on the carb bolt threads (2000 GTX) and I just want to confirm that is what should be done. To me it sounds like that would cause the bolts to loosen up, but I am not an expert on that. I came across other threads that mention that helps them from not getting stuck due to the heat - was not sure if it was the threads or just the shaft.

    Thanks

    Jay
