Rxp-x 260 water in engine compartment

Anyone has the same problem as the image attached to this post ? when I take my RXP-X 2012 for a long drive and the sea is not flat calm, water is somehow entering. I am thinking perhaps its from the seat.

    Welcome to GreenHulk.
Damn that looks like you left the seat off and a flock of seagulls took a dump on your motor.
To answer your question, I have not had that problem with mine, but some other members have complained about water draining through the seat.

I get a small amount in mine when riding in ruff conditions in salt water. Don't really notice it in the fresh water tho because it doesn't spot up. You are getting A LOT more than me tho. Def looks like its coming from the seat tho.

Removed the seat cover and wrapped the foam in plastic....That way the foam wont absorb the salt water your riding in...No matter how much you flush the seat, when you ride and your ass bounces on the seat, it will squeeze slt water out of the foam and all over your engine..

Make sure you spray your whole engine bay with Silicone Spray before using your ski in salt water to avoid corrosion.

Before & after! I use lanox or sea doo bomb lube. Seems to do the job. We ride 100% of the time in salt water down here
