As long as all that crap stays out of Lake Erie, I'll be happy.

I watched a program back where they believed a bullshark to be responsible for an attack on a show horse, as it was led through a 2-3 ft stream in Australia. They were literally miles away from saltwater. On another program I watched, scientists were tracking the migratory habits of Bullsharks in freshwater. They discovered a breeding population in FRESH WATER, again, miles and miles from open sea.
A year or so ago a Bull shark was seen half way up the Potomac.

"He didn't eat the snapper carcass. I think he wanted to try some mammal that day... The rest of the day, we ended up diving in water much shallower than we planned and we really weren't focused on spearing, but instead on what was coming up around us," he said."

I can't believe those dumbazzes actually went spearfishing anyway with that beast in the area!

Another thing that popped out at me in that article:

"In Florida, great white sharks are among 22 species of sharks that are prohibited from harvest in state waters."

So there ya go; we are protecting 22 species and they are wondering why these things are starting to "show up."

There was a guy on the news this morning talking about seeing 12 (twelve) of them recently swimming among the surfers at the Santa Monica Pier in Cali.

Of course we can't blame all sharks in general as killers, they have taken a big decline world wide from long liners and finners and they are part of the underwater world, but the Great Whites ARE coming back with the seals and they are coming into shallow water.

This report from Australia came in a couple days ago; this poor guy was BITTEN IN HALF and then the shark tried to pull the guy off the rescue ski, but the point is this; notice the article states this was the FIFTH FATAL ATTACK in this area in LESS THAN A YEAR...

A man jet-skiing near the surfers said it was a gruesome scene, with "half a torso" all that remained of the victim.
"There was just blood everywhere and a massive, massive (great) white shark circling the body," he told ABC television, estimating the fish was four or five metres (13 to 16 feet) long.
"I reached to grab the body and the shark came at me on the jet-ski and tried to knock me off. I did another loop and when I came back to the body the shark took it"...
