    2012 RXP-X 260 - Flush Kit?

It looks like it is a square and my flush kit for my Yamaha is round. Where can I find a flush kit to fit the transom flush port on the new RXP-X?

A garden hose will screw right into the back of the ski.

A quick disconnect setup for 3 bucks at home depot or wherever makes things very easy as well. No need to spend 20 on a flush kit.

Let me try that. I was looking at the interior part, which looks to be a square and I did not look at the rings for the garden hose fitting.

Check out the Gardenia brand hose fittings at Wal-Mart or Lowe's, It looks like a quick disconnect for an air hose. The male end goes in the ski and female on the hose, the female end stops flow when disconnected.

do not over tighten the garden hose or you will have one hell of a time getting it out. Mine got stuck and the nut on the back of the fitting came loose when I tried to unscrew the hose. Now I have no idea how to get it tight without pulling the exhaust. Anyone have a trick to this?

Why would you need to pull the exhaust? The fitting is on the port side back of the hull and the exhaust is in the starboard transom area.

I was referring to the muffler. I didn't think I was going to get ahold of the nut with the muffler in the way.
I was able to get a long screwdriver back there to hold the nut as my son turned the fitting with a 3/8" drive. Crisis averted.
