    PWC Safety Makes USAToday Headline

Since all the recent summer accidents, with astronauts and R&B star's kid. Interesting on the variance of state to state laws and safety courses.

I always steer clear of boats and skis im not specifically riding with. You never know the experience or alcohol level of people. Be safe out there.

I agree with the need for older age restrictions for kids.
Florida minimum is 14 years on PWC and I think that's too young for today's powerful PWC.

Our local high schools don't even offer mandatory auto driver safety courses for the kids anymore. I wonder what the statistics are on that decision? When I was in High School we had to take 2 full years of drivers safety and that included driving real cars on school property. Cars are killing a lot more kids than PWC ever will.

Very interesting. In Utah they require like a 2 week course also with driving real cars in but on public roads. I agree 14 is too young but hands on experience is always best when operating anything. I have to admit, looking back, I'm surprised I survived my teenage years (only barely though-another story) with the way I drove

I expect the media blitz will not help us at all. It's only a matter of time before some politician decides to go to the extreme in order to make a name for themselves. I am shocked that street bikes have not suffered in the same way.
