    GTX 4-tec questions

Hello. In general, what would be your opinion of the reliability of a GTX 4-tec NON super charged ski. 2004 model year. Would this be a good recreational ski for someone not interested in modding and looking for reliability? Thanks.

Yes this would be a good chose. It should be good on gas also.

Thanks for the reply. I have read thru the broken valve sticky. Not finding too much else. Can't get a feel for how likely the valve issue is on NA engines.

I think the valve issues were on all 06 and older 4 tecs.

Though I had a 215 4-tec with no problems, the 155 is my engine of choice when looking for another.

Ok got it. So I wonder to what degree to have no issues with the old valves is the exception or the rule?
