Question: Will an X-SC from 2008 RXTX or RXPX bolt up to a 2003 GTX 4-tec SC

I realize the gearing is different but will it bolt up? I could swear there was a tread on this and people have done it may times.

    Thanks, Rick

Yes, it will bolt up, but you would need to install a 17 tooth gear onto the X SC. The 17 tooth gear must be from a 06 or newer due to gear thickness.
An 05 or older 17 tooth gear will NOT work.

The best option is to install the RXP flywheel/double row gear and just use the 16 tooth gear that comes with the X charger.

Thanks. I just PM'ed you. I don't think I could handle the flywheel gear change and It must be expensive.

what else do you need to do to handle the X SC?
from what you have posted before, you are adding RXT fuel pump, RXT intake manifold and oem RXT intercooler.
but keeping the 2003 ECU with 7650 rpm limit
and stock 38 injectors (same as on a RXT)

if jerry says a stock RXT can handle a X SC, then at what point does it need the 42's?
    4"air intake? yes or no
    he might say yes...
but what if its only turning 7650 rpm with your ECU... then what ?
maybe doesnt need the 42's ????
