    Wakeboard Rack

I bought a set of wakeboard racks from a 2008 Wake Edition Sea Doo. I found out that I need clips to attached these racks to my ski correctly.

Does anyone know what these clips are? I called the dealer and they are acting like I'm stupid for even doing the swap onto my 2005 RXT and they have no idea what I'm even talking about.

Can someone help me on this conflict? Has anyone put wakeboard racks on there ski?

Heres a link to the parts, http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....e=13&A=90&B=20

Get 4 so you can install both racks obviously.

Thank you guys for the help! I really appreciate it. The dealer from where I'm from is composed of idiots. I'll post some pics after I get the parts in for the install!

I suggest you order the parts here: www.shspowersports.com

They discount their prices, have all of the micro-fiche charts, are very fast to ship. I only use the dealer as a last resort!

The mounts need to be placed at the correct distance according to how wide the rack itself is, you will need to drill small holes into the hull so that the screws can go in without damaging the hull and I do suggest putting masking tape on the hull to prevent any damage while drilling. Look at my picture and get an idea of where I mounted my rack, and also I would order the correct screws if you do not have them.

Ok, I bought the correct hardware. For the screw hole size... Did you select a size smaller than the screw or what? I just want to make sure that I don't mess up the hull.

If this is for a rack with P/N 295 500 985 then the hole size to drill is 3.25 mm +- 0.10mm(1/8 in +- 0.00 in) and torque the screw to 1.5 N.m (13 lbf.in)

i had the directions but I'm sorry i don't know where they went. It is pretty easy, just take your time, oh and when I was drilling the holes i went out and bout a 90 degree drill attachment so that i could drill correctly (my drill wouldn't fit in between the hull foot well for drilling)
