the handles on that may be found on ebay or just take them off and reinstall the bolts (I'd take them off, its better as a 1 up)... a cheap fix would be to make them out of plastic cutting board .. the semi soft ones Wally world sells that are made of milk bottle plastic....

if it jumps wakes, shim the rear of the ride plate down.. this will drive the nose in and not let the ski 'air out' so easyly.. use 4 in the back possition and possibly 1 in front to even the plate with the grate... this will slow you down , but makes the ski handle better..

sponsons main job is they hold the ski's 'line' against steering input ..and also stablize the hull in the rough and while on plane..

read the GP BIBLE that is posted near the top in the sticky section of old school.... while this is not your exact ski but it methodicly walks you thru mods that can be also performed to your ski and in what order they require... Group K has info towards this end on their site.it steps thru the mod. levels in their performance packages section.. both good reads..

its all a balancing act, do know that if you do make changes you will be playing with the ski's everyday reliability to just start and go.. ..some do make it better than stock, others no factor, finally those than may need adjustments according to changing running conditions...
