    Yamaha 1300R No power problem

The ski first had a hot exhaust signal on the dash panel And would not build speed. First thing completed was "clean out" the cat converter. Back in the water, light didn't come on but still no power after about 3 minutes of running. Replaced the spark plugs. 5 minutes of really strong running then started dropping power again. All cylinders have good compression. Any ideas would be appreciated

If you still have your cat converter, look at getting a D-plate to remove it. You will also need a resistor to trick ECU. Make sure your gas tank vent isnt the problem. Next time it happens, loosen your cap to see if engine runs as it should.
