    Just bought a 06 gp1300r!

On Saturday a buddy and I made a 300+ mile trip to Ohio to pick up a 06 gp1300r. I never even saw a picture of it before we left. I have never even rode anything bigger then a gp800r, so I'm sure this will be a bit different. It has 10 hours on it and is perfect. It came with a 2-place Karavan trailer, a pair of vests, a factory cover, 3 extra gallons of oil, and a few extra spare parts. I've only had it for 2 days and I already want to start modding it. I have a few plans, but nothing is set on what I'm going to do yet. Here's a couple of pics of the new beast!

I have no idea when I'll get a chance to ride it. All of the lakes around here are frozen. I'm hoping in late April or early May. The wait is going to kill me!
I know I still need to register it, but I figure I have a little bit of time. I'm not sure if I should register it in IL or WI. I have the option of either and I'm not sure what one is best yet.

HaHa, the tool box is actually a Homak, not really as good as Craftsman but it gets the job done. This is just going to be another fun toy for the summer.

Nice. I'm a SeaDoo man for now but I always did like this ski. Actually I'd love to drop my RXP motor in that hull.

Good luck with your new ski.

Early May is what I am looking at to for first launch.

Thats a long time to let it sit without adding some mods.
Order some parts you know you wanna.

nice looking ski, let me know when your ready to rip the graphics off and change everything including the paint. I get a hard-on seeing a completely stock looking boat and thinking about what it could be transformed into.
