Do you recommend my solition? Accelerator pump problem
I have an accelerator pump problem, (2004 Virage CDK2)
I have checked there is no clogged at the uper noozle nor in the hose, but there is no fuel comming from the acc. pump.
I have ordered the item 1 week ago and it seem still in process!! May be, I will wait to 20~25 days to receive,
The problem is when you give throttle it stops. and you start again wait 2 minutes in idle and give the throttle slowly.
My question is ; I have found a solution by making rich (idler mixture screw 2,5 turns richer) and ,the engine gets more
quickly accelerates now, but will it harm to the engine ?? Or do you recommend me other solutions while I am waiting my order?

Running it richer should not harm the engine. Fixing the accel pump is the best solution.
I am pretty sure the check valve at the squirter will also need to seal when you let off the throttle-that helps the pump suck in fuel.

I think there is a clogged a the lower unit at the carb site ; the upper site works well; but I wont open it until the new part arrives,
also I wish it can be fixed easly with wd-40
Do you think a late start problem also cause this?
