New GTR Owner - How many days can I leave ski in water?

So I,m on day 3 of owning this new jet ski. New to the jet ski world and just loving it. Wondering how many days I can leave it in the water. It fairly sheltered but I haven't had a chance to buy a ski ramp yet. It was all a very rushed purchase (1 day impulse purchase), so I also haven't had the chance to put a bilge in (we're only at the cottage for the month of July but will have done for next season). Thanks everyone in advance been obsessively reading all the info on here!

I care so much for my ski that I don't leave it on the water at all, but it should not be a problem. Freshwater, even less of a problem since flushing it after use is not that important compared to salt water. It should not take in much water during heavy rain fall. If something starts leaking...........

Floating without a bilge? depends on your luck.

Beached? shouldn't be to big of a deal if no sinking risk.

Thanks for the input. No it's just tied up at the dock so there is a (shallow) risk. I'll order a ski ramp tomorrow, they can have it up here for Saturday. Even a small risk ain't worth it.

All season. They should not leak or fill with rain water. Losts of people leave them tied to the dock all season with no ill effects. Now if your in water with marine growth like barnicals, or zebra muscles i would not leave it more than 2 weeks.

I'm new to the sport as well, so correct me if I am wrong... But if you go down to the dock a couple times a day and fire it up, would that not pump out any water that did leak inside?

I would still recommend pulling it out of the water every few days, to start it up, blip the throttle a few times to blow out the exhaust and intercooler.

The ski has to be moving for the stock siphon bilge system to work.

Yea but if you have a problem e.g. slip bellows, exhaust pops off, small leak you could come back to a ski under water!
