    Yamaha 65U starter bendix installation

Just received my rebuilt engine and the starter bendix is now loose behind the flywheel. When I shipped it out it was firmly sitting behind the flywheel. How do I re-install it properly?

did you install the spring and 2 washers that go on the stator cover.
