Gp1300R will a 800 grate have better hook & performance compared to the stock grate?

I have 2008 GP1300R with a stock grate... will upgrading to a R&D 800 grate have a better hook up & performance over the stock grate? I am aware the the 1200 is the best for hook up i just want to know if the hook up on a 800 is an improvement over stock? Thanks

    no

800 is for top end only, and 1 mph faster than the 1200 grate

go with the 1200 grate IMO
