2006 RXP Riva thru hull exhaust install questions (plugging old exhaust opening)

    Well,

What is the best way to plug the old exhaust hole? Do I need to unscrew the existing setup? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

    B

The Riva kit comes with the plug for plugging the old exhaust exit. You need to remove the old exhaust from the part where it exits the waterbox back to install the riva one. Opas removal is also required so you will need a block off kit.

Yes you need to unscrew the old 90 degree pipe and install the block off that is designed for this...also before you install the block off make sure you have all the old silicone cleaned off or you can and will get a leak...

Sounds good, so use a large set of pliers and unscrew the old exhaust?
