    threadlocker?

The manual I have for my GP1300 says to use red high strengh threadlock on the exhaust manifold and pipes. It says to use in alot of places on engine.Red threadlock is permanent .What if I need to disassemble.Should I use blue?I know if you heat the components you can disassemble. So what is best choice red or blue.

red is not permament...just stronger than blue.

Trust the manual...use what it says where it says.

    Good luck,

    Jason

definitely use red on the exhaust. It'll hold up better under the heat and vibration then blue. it'll still come apart fine, especially on a fresh water ski.
