    Help with grease nipple

Have a 04 f12. There is a grease nipple at the rear of the engine area - under the rear seat. Looks like the tube goes down to the jet area?? What is it for - what grease should i use - how often. Don't recall seeing this in the manual, are there other regular maintenance stuff that's not in the manual?

The grease nipple is for the carrier bearing on the drive shaft to the impeller. I use waterproof grease and about 4-5 pumps every time I take them out. I do this when I'm cleaning up my ski's.

last night i gave it 4-5 pumps of grease and nothing came out the intake area...do you think i should keep adding until if flows out? fyi, this is the first time i've done it since owning the ski that i bought used last year. PO seemed very good about maintenance etc.

Keep pumping, it will come out. There is a vent hose coming from the seal that can be open to help purge the lip seal. Pump slowly, normally takes 3g of grease- 11g if repacking a fresh new seal.
