    hole in cases

cleaning my cases in the process of tapping the screw wholes. I noticed that one of the screw wholes on the carb side. The liquid started dripping out. I did it a few more times with the same result. I noticed there is a little whole drilled from carb side to well not sure the function of it on cases. I enclosed pics, one carb whole adn then showing where it is drilled to.

Don't know the answer to your question, but the word you're looking for is "hole".

if it drip outside the case, dont worry about it. if it is leaking internal to the case, then you have to seal it. looks like that is external.

There sure is a whole lot of holes in these things

Ken, there is a gasket surrounding that bolt, it is not a concern for air leak at all. I have had holes broke out he back on the smaller ones for the reed plate, they were never an issue.
