was it the new 2011 clutch or a 2010 clutch. if its the 2010 clutch it will have sheared its teeth and its an engine out job to clean the sump. if its an 2011 take it back to where you bought it, either way it should be warranty if its only done 4 hrs.

You need to take the supercharger off and inspect the teeth on the gears.

Are you saying that you put on the "new" 2012 style with the new intermediate gear?

or did you fit it without the new intermediate gear. i would get a dampener gear when you replace it. if you bought it new surely you can return it for warranty if its only a few days old.

The new gears are different and the Riva dampened won't work.

Well my "buddy" just told me what was wrong with his seapoo. The j pipe came off and was filling his hull full of water so for the 45 I'm I towed his ski back it kept fillin with water. So I think his 800 pound ski was about 1200 after all the water in the hull and I over heated the clutch.

sounds like you loaded the engine so much before the new clutch was fully bedded it in and its give up. unfortunate. i would still see if you fitting a new clutch get a new intermediate gear dampener, speak to jerry in the online store he will advise you.

Bedding in a clutch. Thats a new one. Its the constant unhooking adn extra boost that is destroying these things. which I can hardly see happening when giving someone a tow.
