Powervalve cover gasket and threadlocker
I am about to install waveeater clips and the service manual indicates to use loctite 572. In a previous search for loctite in my area I realized the permatex substitutes are easier to find. As for what to use instead of loctite 572, I came across loctite/permatex 592 or permatex 14a pipe sealant. Just wanted to hear what others used.
Also, the service manual states to replace the powervalve gaskets, but other threads indicate they can be reused if in good shape. What is the likelihood that they will come off in good shape, and if so, can they be used as-is or should some gasket-spray (copper stuff?) be used?

Permatex is all I can find locally too. Like Jim said use the blue stuff, it says medium strength on it.

I use a thin coat of hondabond ht on the gaskets if I'm reusing them
