    Error code P-0544!

    2005 Sea Doo RXT

At total random-ness I get this exhaust temp sensor code. It first started when I was doing spin outs one afternoon.. Some days it will come on randomly, even going at low RPM's, and other days it never comes on... no pattern what so ever.

Is this a critial issue to worry about?

My local Sea Doo dealer is completely booked for the rest of the summer for service. 2 months before they will even look at the ski.

I need to know if I should call it a season for this fix or can it be done by a none professional?

I read another tread like this and people were saying that you have to flush your intercooler. It doesn't make sense because a intercooler doesn't involve the exhaust what so ever.

The inter-cooler water also cools the exhaust.

Huh, really? So is this a big problem or can it wait till the off season?
