Lost my intake and reed cages.

Been working for weeks to figure out why my 97 gp1200 suddenly lost top end and sounded funny. After rebuilding all 3 carbs, changing fuel, filter, plugs, etc. I finally saw a post about back pressure through the carbs indicating a bad reed. Sure enough, I had one missing reed and one with a hole. Put some reeds on order and thought I was done! A storm came along and blew the table I was working on over on the dock. My whole intake went to the bottom of the lake! Anyone have a intake and reed cage set they are willing to part with?

    Thanks!!

I have all that but it came off of a 1100. I think the reeds may be smaller. Maybe someone that knows for sure can say if they are the same or not. If they will work pm me.

Wow - Sorry to hear that. How deep is the lake?? Is the intake ferrous? One of those 200# magnets might help if you weren't willing to take a dive down there.

Tried that then realized that I took off the only magnetic parts. No luck.
