You dont really want to tap the manifold on a non X ski. Use the J pipe.

From what I saw its all based on the casting number. I have a 693 casting (I think that was he later one) and not the 692.

In fact I PM'd WFO to see if he was still doing it. I wanted pictures to show my machinist but I'd rather send it out to someone with a proven success rate.

If anyone's interested, please contact me.

This is a 05. I water tested at 80 psi. no leaks. I think if you stay with the radius of the casting as close as possible the chances are pretty good but still not 100%.

I'm looking to put an AFR gauge on my ski as well. I posted in another thread about the location of the "j-pipe" on an rxpx and I was told it didn't have one... Can someone post a pic of its location and an o2 installed? Thanks

See the post above yours - That is where you want to drill and tap on the X model ski.

I have an 05 rxt and I measured, measured some more and then measured again. I drilled it, tapped it and luckily it worked out good. That water jacket goes in less than 1/4" toward where you're going to drill. Take your time and stay as close to the outside of the casting.
