    Ski Results

My best GPS top speed was 71.3 mph in cool ocean water and cool damp air.

does your gpr have a triple pipe big bore kit? or does the triple (+) mean something else?

Schlonky1: My gpr is not a BB, but it was ported and has some other go-fast goodies inside. Check out some pics on my gallery:

I haven't radared it in a while, but I know that it has run over 76/7 in the past. For reliability purposes, I am in the process of converting it "back" to an extremely fast Stg II (single piper). Island Racing (Carl) has been hard at work! It should run close to the same speeds, but will still be no match for the RXP in flat water.

Brendan, your RXP beats your tripple piper? That's pretty impressive.

Franko: I've been battling the demons w/ the triple. Exhaust leak here, gas valve leak there, broken pipe, etc...In the chop though, the GPR will kill the rxp - hands down. I think if I applied all the "Fountain boy"/Jerry rideplate (etc) magic, I might be able to pull some slightly better numbers. The 4 stroke reliability is addictive, but I still love the feel of the gpr. Carl promises 75+ from the single piper!

    The RXP definitely impresses!

Nice combo of fast skis. Your Riva Stage 2 is the fastest one I've heard of. I'm hoping to get mine to 75. I'm at 73.5 right now. I need to fill the ride plate holes and I need a pump wedge. I think that just might do it.
