    Can I use mx bars

Could I put standard dirt bike bars on a 2000 xp 951? It would be a heck of a lot cheaper then getting ski specific bars If you have tried this what bars did you use?

You could if you wanted to - they are 3/4" bars.. Some have used ATV Bars.. But you will have to relocate a few things, as the HB pad will not fit anymore

Remove the handlebar cover and measure between the HB clamps to get bars with proper spacing..

You can always have your existing bars made wider and can keep all the stock shroud and padding.Good for surf jumping as you need all the protection you can get.

We had solid dowels made up and welded internally and extensions made up.

It gives you a lot more stability when in the surf.

How much did that cost you? I think I can get it to work there are so many bends available for mx
Bars with and without crossbars etc if I take them off the originals I can bring them in and find the right bend and such height and such. Do the Original bars have a cross bars?

Since you are going to pull them off and match them up.. Hell bring the ski with ya and see how they look and feel for you - most dealerships will allow you to do that..

Maybe I'll try that a set of aluminum bars is extremely cheap and if you don't go for high end or extremely durable they can be cheaper. I got a set for a bike I was selling for about 15 then I'll get a pair o f regular odi longnecks for bmx or maybe a pair i have laying around and spend maybe 30 instead of close to 70 and however much grips are. The cheap bars will easily be durable enough for jetski were you hit water and are rarely ever gunnar tip at a high enough speed to bend the bars
