    Injector Suggestions Please

I am running a Riva ECU that has been reflashed with the rpm raised to 9100-9200. I am currently using what we think are 60lb delphi's. They look just like the 50lb delphi's that Riva sell. Problem is I am running lean close to WOT. Base set at 68psi (too high). I am wondering if I can run up to say 80lb injectors which will allow me to lower my base pressure back down to around 60psi. I can then clean up the rpm AFR's with my Power Commander.

Can I run big injectors like 70 or 80lb with the Riva ECU. Will they work and which ones.

    Set up is as follows.

    Hi flow Fuel Pump
    Riva ECU 9100RPM
    60lb injectors
    Base Pressure Currently 68psi
    Boost 20psi
    AFR @ 8800 12.5

    Thanks

    Mark

You should be able to run Deka/Seimens 80lb injectors no problem. You should be able to lower your FP nicely with the 80's. Or maybe try some Deka/Seimens 60lb first and see if that richen the top for you. You need to watch out with the Delphi's. They can partially lock up on you at high pressures.

i would buy the 80's and lower your fuel pressure or you could try an areomotive 340lph pump which flows a lot more. if your running a walbro @ 88psi of pressure thats the reason your going lean...it flows a lot less at that high of pressure. gL

Already running the Aeromotive pump, not the Walbro

Think I'm gonna go with bigger injectors.

You can’t just change injectors and assume they will work correctly
max cc flow is just one of many characteristics of an injector

    Please expand.

If I get the correct physical injector with correct size (dimensions), voltage, resistance etc. then the only other thing being bigger poundage, wouldn't it just give me much more fuel to work with in all aspects of my map. Then I can set my RRFPR for WOT AFR and then trim lower RPM with my PCommander for good AFR?
