They are ok at stock fuel pressure, I get flamed for this, but I find they run better than the Bosch injectors (at stock fuel pressure)... I find my ski doesn't idle smooth on the Bosch... That may have just been the set u tried, but they were brand new & I did have them tested. As soon as the Riva injectors went back in, ski ran nice again.

Look at how different all these injectors are http://injector-rehab.com/shop/lag.html
You cannot stick any similar injector in and expect it to work correctly
Every injector is different. Max cc output is only one small part of injector performance
Even injectors with similar impedance will have very different lag times at different voltages

What injector is your ecu mapped for? Find the latency table for it and compare it
or buy an ecu where you can change the injector settings
A piggy back system will help compensate for some differences but will never be the same as the correct injector table in the ecu

I am running the Riva ECU mapped for the Delphi 50's. I have a Power Commander to fine tune. I am really only interested in getting an injector to supply enough fuel up top with out having to run a high base pressure. I can clean up the fueling down low with the PC. I am running lean with 50's when the boost is around 20+pounds. I have to wind up the base pressure on the RRFPR. I don't want to. I want to keep it below 60psi and run bigger injectors.
Any suggestion on injector. I am thinking a Siemen 60# or a fiveomotorsport custom 62#
It does not have to be perfect. It just has to work.
Thanks
Mark

55Lb Bosch from the store working good on my ski at up to 9k. Running 44lb key pressure as well. Think I got these from Dnielsen when I was trying diff ones to see what worked the best.

most modified injectors (small injector drilled out for more fuel flow like most of the junk 5o sells) will flow the max said flow but are no good for low rpms (they do not flow similar to the other injectors) one cylinder may be fat and one lean exc and most modifiers do not check flow at very low settings
You can have 5o modify any injector for the flow you want but I would not want them
IMO only a high quality new factory injector will give a good linear flow and the same flow at low rpms

I would try Siemens 60s or 80s. I wouldn't try any modded injectors myself. Not sure what your RIVA ecu is flashed to now. You should be able to clean up the low end with the PC. Since you don't have a standalone you are pretty going to have to do this way.

I would bet that a riva flashed ecu is still using the oem injector latency table
and they only change the fuel table (Pulse Width) and maybe the timing
Also the bigger the injector the more important the latency’s (lag time or dead time) be correct
like using my 110lb injectors
here is my current map

So I will stick to a non modified injector, probably will go with the Genuine Siemen's 60,70 or 80 but I will get them direct from 5o. I have have spent a lot of money with Jerry. I sure he won't mind just this once. Funds are low!

Thanks Guys
