    Jetski on board charger

I am new to this sport and was wondering, can you install an onboard battery charger on a jetski? I have one on my boat and lke the convenience. Pros/Cons???

    Thanks,

    Yakski

The only challenge you might have is the inside of a Ski is usually a more wet envioroment than a boat. I think that it would be a great idea all things considered. Even a solar charger would work.

Try harbor freight or I think overtones has one also. I actually have one that came with my sons 2001 VW that plugs in the cigarette lighter. Who knew?

Amazon has them pretty cheap. Didn't see solar one at Harbor freight. Here's the one I have. It doesn't have a controller, but I was told not to worry with the low wattage. Plus it's water resistant.

Here is the link to the Harbor freight one.

Seems to work good have had no problems with it. Just a note though if you have one of chargers that use the two pin connector check the polarity dont just plug it in.

Ah man, I was just there too...didn't see them. Same idea... I use my battery tender leads with the screw terminals, works good.
